Manuel Serrano Conde
Manuel is a partner of the firm since 2003 and is mainly specialised in the diverse areas of General Administrative Law, Urban Planning Law and Compulsory Purchase and Procedural Law, litigating regarding the most varied matters.
In 2001 and 2002, he was part of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department of the international law firm Clifford Chance.
From 2007 to 2010, he lectured on Expropriations for the MBA of Urban Planning Law at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. In addition, he completed an MBA in Real Estate Companies at the Polytechnic University in Madrid. On the other hand, his academic background includes several courses at foreign universities such as Harvard, Stanford, London School of Economics, and most recently Chicago Booth School of Business in collaboration with the IE.
In 2017, Manuel was granted the title of Ph D summa cum laude in Administrative Law by the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. His thesis studies the Institution of Expropriation Reappraisal. Also, Manuel has joined the Universidad Europea of Madrid as a Professor of Planning Law in its Master of Law for school year 2017-2018.
Manuel holds a Law Degree with Honours from the Complutense University in Madrid. When he finished his studies, he prepared for the state examination to join the Corps of State Lawyers for a period of four years, acquiring a broad and global knowledge of Law both Public and Private which is the ground to his mastery when litigating to defend the cases he leads with great passion and responsibility.
Since 2016, Manuel is listed in the international legal ranking The Best Lawyers, as one of the main experts in Administrative Law and Planning in our country. Also, in 2018, he has been awarded with the prize Lawyer of the Year in Public Law Spain by the Private Client Awards of Lawyer Monthly.
